This policy explains how Everuseful LLC ("we") handles information in the Behind the Text app and website.

What stays on your device

Your reading history, searches, notes, highlights, saved verses and settings are stored on your device. "Recommended for you" is calculated on your device, and this information is not sent to us.

What we may receive

If you send feedback or email us, we receive what you send and your email address if you include it. If you sign in or use premium features, we may store the minimum account information needed to provide them. Hosting and third parties

The app and website are hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type. Sermon and podcast links open on other sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Beta feedback

Feedback you send from inside the beta app is currently processed by Netlify (Netlify Forms), which receives and stores submissions for us.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. [Legal review: confirm against Kids app plans and COPPA.]

Your choices

You can clear on-device data at any time by clearing the app's site data in your browser. To ask about or delete anything you have sent us, contact us.
